Children's Ministry

Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me..."

Matthew 19:14

Our mission is to help children know Jesus, experience His love, and learn how to live out their faith in everyday life. Through age-appropriate teaching, engaging activities, worship, prayer, and play, we aim to lay a strong spiritual foundation that will last a lifetime.

Our Heart for Children

We want kids to:
  • Know that God loves them unconditionally
  • Understand the Bible in ways that make sense to them
  • Learn how to pray and trust God
  • Grow in kindness, compassion, and faith
  • Feel safe and excited to come to church

What to Expect

  • Safe, loving, and well-prepared volunteers
  • Bible stories brought to life through storytelling and visuals
  • Hands-on activities, crafts, and games
  • Prayer time and moments to ask questions

Our goal is not just to teach information, but to help children experience God in a way that feels real and relevant.

Join Us!

Every child who walks through our doors is welcomed, known by name, and valued. We believe that faith can be fun, meaningful, and deeply personal, even at a young age. We can’t wait to meet you, get to know your kids, and walk together as they grow in faith and love.

Sunday Activities

10am-11am

Our Sunday School class follows a curriculum that takes kids through the Bible from cover to cover. Beginning in Genesis and ending in Revelation, kids will spend the next 52 weeks learning all about God, His people, and His Son, Jesus, through a variety of fun skits, games, and crafts.

11am-12pm

Our kids' 11 AM Bible class highlights the Fruit of the Spirit and engages kids through activities, crafts, and verse memorization. Grab your donut, then drop your kids off and join one of our Adult Bible classes after service!

4:30pm-6:30pm

Our chapter of the Awana Clubs program runs during the school year (September through May). Kids ages 4-12 meet on Sunday nights from 4:30-6:30 PM to learn Bible stories, memorize verses, play games, and fellowship. Learn more by clicking on the image below.
We also offer Pre-K classes and have a nursery for our youngest members! Click here to learn more.

About Our Children's Ministry Leader

Aubrie Roebas

Since beginning in children’s ministry in 2015, I have developed a passion for showing children God’s love. After moving to Maryland in 2023, I wished to continue that calling and became the children’s minister here at FBCC. I enjoy creating a positive, welcoming space where kids can grow in their faith, ask questions, and feel encouraged every step of the way.
